In an agency career spanning more than 20 years, Bill Morrison has developed strategy, managed business conferences, produced strategic events and led the execution of national public relations campaigns some of America’s best known companies.

In 1993 Bill founded William Morrison Communications (WMC), a firm that provides a broad range of media and marketing communications services to corporate clients, and consulting services to several top agencies.

Bill began his career with Burson-Marsteller (B-M), one of the world’s leading public relations agencies. In his 10 years with B-M, he rose to vice president and worked closely with senior executives from such organizations as AT&T, Burger King, GE, BellSouth, Amoco, FedEx and MetLife. Career highlights at B-M include launching the GE Answer Center, managing field operations and media relations for the AT&T-sponsored Olympic Torch Relay to Los Angeles, developing Burger King’s award-winning fire safety education program for children, and serving as field producer for the FedEx-sponsored “Celebration of Medal Winners” show at the Calgary Winter Olympic Games.

Prior to forming WMC, Bill served as executive vice president of Van Vechten & Associates (VV&A), an award-winning public relations agency specializing in healthcare and consumer products. VV&A clients include such household names as the American Dental Association and Johnson & Johnson.

Bill’s work has won a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Award for Communications Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). He is a member of the New York New Media Association (NYNMA).
